I would love to go for mountains as is it more close to nature and more quite then beaches. Last year i visited Pakistan for mountains. Most of the world lagest mountains are situated there in the Karakoram range (the highest of which is K2, globally ranked 2nd, 8611m), some high mountains are in Himalaya (the highest of which is Nanga Parbat, globally ranked 9th, 8126 m) and Hindu Kush (the highest of which is Tirich Mir, globally ranked 33rd, 7708 m). It is called the roof of the world because they are at high altitude. The Pamir Mountains are a mountain range in Central Asia formed by the junction of the Himalayas with Tian Shan, Karakoram, Kunlun, and Hindu Kush ranges. I have been and it is beautiful. Worth the long journey. I have photos but I am uncertain how to post them. Before travel i joined a Pakistani Forum Called explorers.pk. which gave me alot of knowledge and information about local places and also i meet up one local travel guide for the tour.
