A VISIT TO A HISTORICAL PLACE
Taj mahal - one of the seven wonders of the world has become one of the most visited place in India. It was built by the great mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal.It was built around 3 centuries ago.
Our school took all the students of grade 7 and 8 to the Taj Mahal situated in the beautiful city of Agra. When i visited this magnificent monument, I just felt captivated.There were a lot of tourists ; both Indian and foreign pouring in. We took pictures of all the beautiful paintings and carvings that were placed on the marble walls. But at the same time, I saw a few people spitting on the walls and making them dirty and the security catching them and going away. The full monument is made up of marble and it is the the tomb of Mumtaz Mahal and Shah Jahan.
After around 2 hours in the Taj Mahal , we entered the school bus to come back home. On reaching home, I called my grandparents to tell them about this wonderful experience.
