1. Viral Diseases of Poultry:- Fowlpox, Bird flu or H5N1-Virus, Ranikhet or New castle diseases, infectious bronchitis, lymphoid leukosis and are common viral diseases of poultry.

2. Bacterial Diseases:- Some of the bacterial diseases which are seen in poultry are fowl cholera, Pullorum & Spirochaetosis.

3. Fungal Diseases:- Atliatoxicosis or Aspergillosis flavus, Brooder prneumonia, Aspergillosis and thrush are the some fungal diseases which are commonly seen in poultry.

Note:- lf any of the infectious disease has affected a mass proportion of the chicken and hens, then the best and safer decision, to avoid the tatal consequence, is to destroy the atfected indivIduals. A poultry keeper must be aware about the common diseases so as to esure the well being of hens and also of humans.
