Fungi:
Heterotrophic, eukaryotic organisms which don't contain chlorophyll.
They range from microscopic yeast to large mushrooms
They have a multicellular body in the form of an interwoven fine threads like structures called mycelium.
The individual threads are called hyphae
Mostly saprophytic and some are parasitic also
They have cell walls made of a complex sugar called chitin
Eg: yeast, bread mold, mushroom

Features of Kingdom Protista :-

1) They are Eukaryotes.
2) They are mostly Unicellular except algae.
3) They are Heterotrophs.
4) They mainly live in water , some in soil.
5) The term Protista was given by Earnst haeckal.
6) They have flagella or May be cilia for movement.
7) Under adverse condition they forms cysts.
8) They are major components of plankton.
9) They have membrane bound nucleus.
10) Examples :- Sporozoans etc

Features of Kingdom Fungi :-

1) They are Eukaryotes.
2) Also known as decomposers.
3) They are non-motile.
4) Their call wall is made up of Chitin.
5) They are multicellular.
6) They can't make their food means they are Heterotrophs.
7) Their reproduction is by the means of spores.
8) They used to store their food in form of starch.
9) They are actually non-vascular in nature.
10) Examples :- Yeast ,puffballs etc.
