Hello Mate,

Speaker is responsible for enforcing the Rules of the Legislative Assembly, presiding over the conduct of House business and maintaining order and decorum. The Speaker is looked upon as the true guardian of the traditions of parliamentary democracy.

Opposition's main role is to question the government of the day and hold them accountable to the public.and is responsible for challenging the policies of the government and producing different policies where appropriate.

Hope this helps you

I THINK THAT

As the person of highest authority in the House, the Speaker sits on a raised dais at the end of the Chamber, with government members on his or her right and opposition members to the left. The Speaker is responsible for controlling the flow of House business and acts as “referee” during debates.
