Answer:

A)A pollutant is a substance or energy introduced into the environment that has undesired effects, or adversely affects the usefulness of a resource. A pollutant may cause long- or short-term damage by changing the growth rate of plant or animal species, or by interfering with human amenities, comfort, health, or property values. Some pollutants are biodegradable and therefore will not persist in the environment in the long term. However, the degradation products of some pollutants are themselves polluting such as the products DDE and DDD produced from the degradation of DDT.

B)AQI or Aqi may refer to:

Air quality index

"Al-Qaeda in Iraq", common English substitute name for the Iraq-based Tanzim Qaidat al-Jihad fi Bilad al-Rafidayn

Australian Questioning Intonation, a feature of some accents of English

AQ Interactive, a former Japanese video game developer and publisher

A'Qi, a character from the wuxia novel The Deer and the Cauldro

C)Think of the AQI as a yardstick that runs from 0 to 500. The higher the AQI value, the greater the level of air pollution and the greater the health concern. For example, an AQI value of 50 or below represents good air quality, while an AQI value over 300 represents hazardous air quality.
