Half an hour before the scheduled start of the programme, the school band of students took their position. The band members were decked out in stunning uniforms. They started playing entrancing music. Long before the scheduled start time, the students were seated. They were all wearing white paint and white shirts, the required school uniform.
At 7:45 a.m., the visitors started to show up. They were welcomed and given those seats by our teachers. The event started at exactly 8 a.m. Everyone in attendance stood at attention. The flag was raised by the principal. The rose's petals landed on us.
