\underline\mathfrak{Given:-}

  • The first term a and the common difference d are a = 4, d = -3.

\underline\mathfrak{To \: \: Find:-}

  • Find the four term of the Ap ......?

\underline\mathfrak{Solutions:-}

  • first term = 4
  • Common difference = -3

We know that,

an = a + (n - 1) d

first term = 4

second term:-

a + (2 - 1)d

a + d

third term:-

a + (3 - 1)d

a + 2d

four term:-

a + (4 - 1)d

a + 3d

Now,

first four term are:-

first term = 4

second term = a + d

4 + (-3)

4 - 3

1

third term = a + 2d

4 + 2(-3)

4 - 6

-2

fourth term = a + 3d

4 + 3(-3)

4 - 9

- 5

hence, first four term of Ap is 4, 1, -2, -5.
