1. Work is a force that is sufficient to effect movement of some object across a linear distance. Energy applied to something via work.

2.All work imparts energy but not all energy imparts work.

3.Work translates into energy that energy may be used for things other than work.

4. Work is the amount of energy necessary to move an object from one point to another .

5. The definition of work and you will be able to spot where in a physical system it is transpiring and where another form of energy transference is instead occurring.
