Decomposition reaction Are the reaction which which carry out the splitting out a substance or compound.
==================================☆
1)Electrolysis of water-
2H2O ------------------》2H2 + O2
Here, water is splitted by the process of electrolysis into two components hydrogen and oxygen so this is a decomposition reaction.
2)Splitting of carbonic acid.
H3CO3---------------------------》 H2O + CO2
Here,
this reaction is occurs when we open the bottle of the soft drinks.after opening the bottle this carbonic acid is gets converted into the water and carbon dioxide.
3) Reaction of aluminium oxide.
2Al2O3-----------------------------》4Al + 3O2
here in this reaction Aluminium oxide is split up into aluminium and oxygen.
4) Reaction of potassium chloride.
KCl-----------------------------------》2K + Cl2
Potassium chloride is splitted into potassium and chlorine so it is also and decomposition reaction.
5) Reaction of calcium carbonate.
CaCO3------------------------------》CaO + CO2
Here calcium carbonate is split up into calcium oxide and carbon dioxide.so this is also and decomposition reaction.
