I get your question dear! i remember when i was in third i use to write the first page of my diary very neatly at the first i use to feel like i am going to maintain my books more careful than my self but everything changes when i entered term 2 xD lol !

But now it does not happen i feel very organised these days xD ! You can follow these small tips to maintain your books!

1) keep your books very neat

2) Try to use only one kind of ink 

3) Try not to get any complains from teachers !

4) keep your handwriting neat always!
