a. Peninsular rivers rises from the slopes of Western ghat and flow eastwards and drain into the Bay of Bengal.

b. We may give example of Naramada, Mahanadi, the Godavari, the Krishna, Kaveri that flow eastwards

c. The Narmada Basin- The Narmada river rises in the Amarkantak hills in MP.

d. It flows towards east in a rift valley.

e. The tributaries of this rover are very short and most of them join the river at right angles.

f. The rivers also creates some great panoramic views from where it flows.

g. We may give example of marble rocks in Jabalpur.
