Reservation is a must in India although people here believe this is the cause of lower level of growth of our country. This is just not true. So here are some points in favour of reservation.
The most and up most need to reservation is to give equal chance to the people of backward category as they face of lot of discrimination. I won't get deep into this as this is a very vast point to describe with un numerable ways of discrimination faced by reserved category people.
The people needs respect in the society. Treated as animals and abused for years. Talking here about sc/st people they were supposed to only clean toilets of upper classes. They were not allowed to sit beside them. They were not allowed to drink water from the same well. And this is still happening in villages.
