Answer:

Explanation:

1) colloid is a heterogeneous mixture.

2) the size of particle of colloid is too small to be seen by naked eyes.

3) they do not separated by filtration process. But they can filter by special process called centrifugation.

4) In the presence of colloidal particles has little effect of colligative properties of solution.

5) they show tyndall effect.

1) they are relatively stable in nature ,the particles of the disappeared phase are in state of continuous motion and remain suspended in the solution.

2)they require specialized filters known as ultrafilters for filtration .

3)since they consist of two phases, the disappeared phase as well as the dispersion medium ,they are known as heterogeneous in nature.

4)even though they have suspended particles and are heterogeneous in nature ,they appear as if a homogeneous solution ,this is because the suspended particles are so tiny that they are not conceivable by the naked eyes.

5) It decreases in vapour pressure .
