Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was the leader of Indian national movement which was again the colonial rule of britishers or East India Company.
He was born on 2nd October 1869 and passed away on 30th January 1948.
He was an honest man and he had given a desirable place in the annals of Indian history.
The Indians call him " bapu " or "Gandhi ji". He is also known as the father of nation because of his work for our nation. he always used the path of non-violence.
Born in coastal Gujarat, India and trained in law at the Inner Temple, London.
when he returned to his nation India, he firstly encouraged the farmers to raise their voice against the high land tax. He led various struggles for self rule ( Swaraj ) .His birthday is celebrated as Gandhi Jayanti.
