Answer:

Soldiers do many things, from shooting enemies, to digging defensive trenches. They are used to defend their country, or attack another country's army. It is difficult, and soldiers must be in good shape, both physically and mentally.

Explanation:

A soldier is a very important person for our country. He guards & protects our country throughout his life.Even if it is heavy rain or snowfall or any natural calamity,he is always there to protect us.If he wouldn't have been there, our life or country would be in constant danger from other nations. They may have attacked us & killed or destroyed our people & land, everything.A soldier is a braveheart who being away from his own family, takes care & even is ready to sacrifice his life for country's well-being & safety. He is the one who must be given huge respect from all people. There should be a sense of thankfulness among the people for him.He is the real national hero & braveman.A soldier's whole life is in the foot of his motherland.Salute those national heros who work tirelessly day & night only for US.

Hope this helps you!

I remember my lolo telling me stories and memories of war. Of lives sacrificed and families torn apart because of war. Of children unable to feel the warmth of the love of a father who had to be in the battlefields, to fight for freedom and the nation’s independence.

All those stories, and the emotions they evoked, came back to life as I watched on TV stories about the war that continues to rage between government troops and Maute terrorists in Marawi City. How hard it must be for the soldiers themselves and for their families, especially the children. However tragic a soldier’s life might end, his heroism and bravery in times of war should not be forgotten.

Every war has an objective, achieving it would entail sacrifices; it could be a most difficult and painful act. More so in the ongoing war in Marawi, where the enemies do not value life and clearly do not have a religion.
