On 26th September 2019 RVBS public school celebrated the 200th birth anniversary of Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar who was a great philosopher, academic educator, writer, translator, printer, publisher, entrepreneur, reformer and philanthropist. The program was celebrated on our school premises and it was started around 10 am.
The chief guest of the program was the great philosopher and he gave a beautiful speech to students and teachers and most of the students were inspired by his speech. Many various events were conducted like quiz, great math, fun with science, etc. at last the program was ended by honoring our nation by the national anthem.

"Vidyasagar Day " celebrated in Samata

Kolkata, 27th Sept: Samata Vidyalaya celebrated Vidyasagar day on auspicious occasion of birth anniversary of Ishwar chandra vidyasagar. The day began with lamp lighting by our chief guest Mr L.D. Chatopadhyay . The chief guest gave words of wisdom to the students.
Various competitions were held throughout the day. Essay writing, elocution competition and science exhibition were main events of the day.
The competition was really tough and it helped students to learn more.
In the evening, the felicitations were done and a documentary film was shown on Ishwar chandra vidyasagar. It was a day worth remembering for everyone. The day ended with Thanksgiving speech by Principal of the school.
