Answer: Formula for the compounds by transposing the valencies are:

(1). Na2O

Na has the valency of +1 and O2 has the valency of -2. So by interchanging the valency of both the elements, it becomes

Na+O2-->Na2O.

(2). MgO

Mg has the valency of +2 and O2 has the valency of -2. So by interchanging the valency of both the elements, it becomes

Mg+O2-->MgO

(3). Na2O+H2

Na has the valency of +1 and in H2O, H has valency of +1 and OH has the valency of -1. So by interchanging the valency of both the elements, it becomes

Na+H2O-->Na2O+H2.

(4). NaCl+H2

Na has the valency of +1 and in HCl, H has valency of +1 and Cl has the valency of -1. So by interchanging the valency of both the elements, it becomes

Na+HCl-->NaCl+H2

(6). MgCl2+H2

Mg has the valency of +2 and in HCl, H has valency of +1 and Cl has the valency of -1. So by interchanging the valency of both the elements, it becomes

Mg+HCl-->MgCl2+H2

(7). Al2O3

Al has the valency of +3 and O2 has valency of -2. So by interchanging the valency of both the elements, it becomes

Al+O2-->Al2O3

(8). Al(OH) 3+H2

Al has the valency of +3 and in H2O H has valency of +1 and OH has the valency of -1. So by interchanging the valency of both the elements, it becomes

Al+H2O+-->Al(OH3+H2

(9). CaO

Ca has the valency of +2 and O has the valency of -2. So by interchanging the valency of both the elements, it becomes

Ca+O2-->CaO

(10). CaOH+H2

Ca has the valency of +2 and in H2O H has valency of +1 and OH has the valency of -1. So by interchanging the valency of both the elements, it becomes

Ca+H2O-->CaOH+H2
