The reaction between KI and Pb(NO3)2 produces lead (II) iodide and potassium nitrate.

shivam223: how to write lead iodide
shubham610: in water solution: Pb(NO3)2 + 2 KI → PbI2 + 2 KNO. is nearly insoluble at room temperature, and thus precipitates out. Other soluble salts containing lead(II) and iodide can be used instead, for example lead(II) acetate and sodium iodide.
