First Method: Listing the multiples

First write the common multiples of all the three numbers.

Multiples of 3 = 3,6,9,12,15,18,21……….

Multiples of 4 = 4,8,12,16,20,24.

Multiples of 5= 5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40…….

Hence the Least common multiple of 3,4 and 5= 60

Second method: By Prime factorisation

Let us write the prime factors of the two numbers individually.

4= 2 X 2

3 =1 X 3

5= 1 X 5

Multiply each factor the maximum number of times it occurs and taking the common factor

= 2 X 2 X5 X 3= 60

LCM of 3,4 and 5 = 60

Answer

LCM of 3,4 and 5 = 60
