In a street;

There are buses and motors,

And trams;

I wish there were meadows

There is smoke everywhere

That I go;

I don't like the noises

Very near.There is only one thing

That I love,

And that is the sky,

Far above,

There is plenty of room In the blue, For castles of clouds

And me too!

Explanation:

Irene Thompson wrote the poem "The Town". She says that she lives in a town on a street where it is busy with traffic and people are busy crossing the roads and taking part in the complete hustle and bustle of the town.
