The four provisions of the Assam Secondary Education Act of 1961.

  • Short title, extent, and commencement, This act may be called the Assam Secondary Education Act, 1961. It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint. It extends to the whole of Assam.
  • Admissions of the institutions in other States and Administration to the privileges of the Board. Incorporation of the Board. Publications of the members of the Board members and the Term of the member.
  • Disqualification of the member the person who is not eligible for nomination.
  • Resignation of the member and casual vacancy the member must resign giving notice.
