Given:-

2x + y = 7

To Find:-

4 solutions

Solution:-

If x = 0

2(0) + y = 7

0 + y = y

∴y = 7

If x = 1

2(1) + y = 7

2 + y = 7

y = 7 - 2

∴y = 5

If x = 7

2(7) + y = 7

14 + y = 7

y = 7 - 14

∴y = -7

If x = 2

2(2) + y = 7

4 + y = 7

y = 7 - 4

∴y = 3

Hence The four solutions are

7

5

-7
