The function of the pancreas is to produce a hormone called insulin that helps regulate blood sugar levels. The sugar level in the blood is detected by the cells of the pancreas and insulin is secreted accordingly. If sugar level is high, insulin secretion is increased and if sugar level is low, insulin production is decreased.

Pituitary gland is also called the master gland and controls the functioning of all the other gland in the body.It produces Growth hormone that helps our body to grow.

Adrenal gland secretes adrenaline hormone directly in the blood. The target organs include the heart.More blood is supplied to the heart to be pumped and as a result the heart beats faster and more oxygen is supplied to the body. The blood to the digestive system is also reduced. All these changes help us to deal with difficult situations in our life.
