Write Gauss' law for electrostatic. Derive electric filed for spherical shell. What are it's limitations? Explain with possible reasons.​

Gauss Law

It states that the total flux through a closed surface is 1/4πεo (k) times the net charge enclosed by the closed surface.

Limitations of Gauss Law

It is only used to calculate the field in special case.

We cannot use Gauss law to calculate the field due to an electrical dipole.

For the calculation purposes Gauss Law can only used for some symmetries, or some special shapes.
