I am a bibliophile and i absolutely LOVE my books and will continue to do so. I also have a wonderful collection of books, and they need a bit care so here are the ways i take care of my sugar babies XD

• I have a proper place, a bookshelf to keep all my Books

• I regularly dust the bookshelf and the books with a damp cloth.

• i dont like book pages tampered, so i often use bookmarks instead of folding the paper i left my reading upto.

• I try to use a pencil to write on them if its too necessary

• I try not to write or scribble unnecessarily on my books, i dont even write my name XD but that is your choice.

• I read them regularly, just buying them for show isn't that nice. I donate the ones i dont read anymore.

• I respect books so I dont put my feet near the books, thus the lower shelves are always empty haha.

• I dont touch my books with dirty hands, for instance if i have oil on my hands.

• You can cover your books to protect their covers. (Even though i dont do this on my personal books, excluding school books, you can try this step)

• The books i keep are settled, instead of dumping them into the bookshelf, i try to segregate them.

• I often keep them segregated according to each genre, a genre has a whole shelf ;).

• Try to decorate your reading place by putting a few efforts into room decor. As for me, i have fairy lights in the room with a carpet and a cozy chair i sit upon while i read.

• I treat them gently, by not turning the pages too vigorously, or even throwing them.
