1] Assertive/ Declarative sentence:-

→ These sentence can be called as assertive or Declarative sentence both. In simple words these sentence depict any feeling or opinion. And also these sentence tells when any information is given.

→ These can be written as both negative or positive.

→ For eg; Today an announcement was made.

2] Imperative sentence:-

→ These are also known as command sentence. This sentence tells us about any command, instructions, request or any offer us being made by any person to another person.

→ They can also be in negative or positive both.

→ For eg; You have to go there.

3] Interrogative sentence:-

→ These sentence tells when the first person asks any questions to another person, means these sentence are always going to be in Direct speech.

→ For eg; Where is my book?

4] Exclamatory sentence:-

→ This sentence depicts strong emotions or feelings of a person. Exclamatory mark can be out anywhere here, at the Beginning or at the end.

→ For eg; What! Where is that place?
