India is one of the world's most beautiful locations. And also known as the land of rivers, India has caught the imagination of many travelers since ancient times with its beauty and varied topography.

Physiological division of India :

The Himalayas - The mighty Himalayan mountain ranges stand as guards in the southernmost portion of the nation. Depending on the position and physical characteristics they are classified into Greater Himalayas, middle Himalayas and Shivalik ranges.

Great Indian Desert:It is lies on the western end of Rajasthan State and some parts of Gujarat.

Northern Plains:  The vast Northern Plains are right on the foothills of the Himalayas.

Deccan plateau: South of the Northern Plains lies this triangular landmass. With rough and sloping scenery .

Coasts: These are formed by land strips along both the Western Ghats and the Eastern Ghats.  

Islands: There are two groups of islands outside the eastern and western coasts, which are also a significant characteristic of our country's India. The Lakshadweep Islands are in the south on the Arab Sea, while the “Andaman and Nicobar Islands” are in the south-east on the ‘Bay of Bengal’.
