Here's your answer!

Characteristics of Solid, Liquid and Gas are :-

SOLID (Most stable state) :-

» They have definite mass, volume and shape.

» Intermolecular forces of attraction are strong.

» The distance between two molecules is small.

» The molecules show only vibrational motion, because of small distance between particles.

» They can't be compressed and are rigid.

» Thermal energy is low.

» Solids are further classified into Crystalline and Amorphous solids.

LIQUID :-

» They have definite volume but not definite shape because it takes the shape of container

» Intermolecular forces of attraction are comparitively less than solids.

» The distance between two molecules is comparitively larger than solids.

» The molecules show both translational and vibrational motion.

» They are incompressible hence, independent of pressure.

» Thermal / Kinetic energy is comparitively more.

GAS :-

» They neither have definite volume nor definite shape as molecules in gaseous state show random motion.

» Intermolecular forces of attraction are very less. Hence, the molecules move in accidental motion.

» The itermolecular distance is the most in this state.

» The molecules show translational, rotational and vibrational motion in this state.

» They are compressible, hence when under great heat and pressure undergoes change of state.

» Thermal energy is the most because particles have fierce movements.
