It was the month of November, and we were travelling to Mussoorie, for some 'college tasks' of my brother. It was a really long wag from where I live, and I was really excited about that place. Surprisingly, my gran lived there too but I've never visited her. My parents were always stuck in their jobs, and rarely got a few days' time. It was in years that I had a trip to some other place out of my city.
We had already arrived at the college's gate after a few long minutes, and I better chose to be left in the car while my parents did that 'college task' with my brother. My mom had her mobile given to me, in case anything happens and I saw them fading away into the unusual eerie fog above. I was bored, actually, in just some seconds but I always tried to divert my mind to my new 'old' cousin's family that I was gonna meet, where my gran lived.
After what seemed like ages, my parents and my brother were out of the fog, which was now getting deeper, and like anyone — I was really irritated because they'd left me alone for a nice hour! My mother started giving me excuses about the crowd and all, but I ignored her. We were now somewhere near the slums, and it was horrible! I only wished it would end, and so it did. Just a few kilometers ahead of them, was a nice complex where I was told to leave the car with some bags. My mother got ahold of my hand, and said that I shouldn't make fuss and all the mess.
It was so exciting! There was this garden, and pool with weird frogs. A snowfall was also there, but it wasn't that heavy. We took the lift, and the smell of warm air started tingling my nose. My dad took a right, and opened the first door he saw. I knew it was it!
But, in happenstance, we had a rather cold welcome. A lady, which was supposed to be my aunt, opened the door and barely smiled at us. She asked my mom if they (my brother and me) knew, but mom denied. I was confused, and so was my brother. The joy of the journey suddenly wearied off all of us, which I couldn't make out.
Then, my aunt invited me and my brother to a separate room, and gave us another cold smile. She said, after we were in there, that there's a bad news sort of thing. I noticed that she was trying to cry, but was stopping it somehow. She said we shouldn't feel like really gloomy after we knew, and with a few confused yeses from us, she took us to a room where gran rested. I was trying to figure out what she meant to say, but when there was no sound from my gran's body, I knew what she really meant.

It is sad. It is lonely. It is heartbreaking. I feel as if my life will never go on.l feel the heart-wrenching feeling that my mother will never coming back. l miss her, probably more than I will ever miss anybody in this entire world.
When I think of my mother, I feel happiness; loved; overwhelmed; comfort; blessed; honored; inspired and encouraged . I feel her in the wind and I see her in the stars, she visits me in my dreams and she guards me with all of her heart. And each and everyday I will realize that I have all of these feelings, because I am lucky enough to call her my mother.
