Mrs packletide is the main female lead in the story written by Saki. She belongs to a rich, high class family who doesn't has much problem in her life but is ready to create problem in others life. Mrs Packletide has a great enmity towards Mrs.Loona Bimberton and always tries to do things that could get her on top of Loona Bimberton. To outstand her, Mrs Packletide arranges for a big tiger shooting game where she comes to shoot the tiger but unfortunately kills the goat. She then feeds the villagers to shout out that she had killed a tiger. This shows that she was a social satire and can do anything to get it to her. She also I this process losses one of her closest paid companion after she gets to know the reality.

Satire is a form of literature in which the author who is writing the story subtly ridicules the characters for what they did or said.Mrs.Packletide's tiger is a short story by Saki which potrays the many ill-effects of what greed and lust can make us do.The author has often subtly ridiculed Mrs.Packletide as well as Loona Bimberton. He has written lines in the story which potray his sarcastic humour. The story is deep while humorousand displays human emotions perfectly. In satires, Mrs.Packletide's tiger is a good satire as it displays the mischevious and witty narration required for satirical stories.
In my view Saki achieved his goal superbly. By making Mrs. Packletide such a fake show-off with his sardonic(mocking) tone and extravagant language, we grow hateful of her. Her petty, selfish nature annoys us and the extremes she will go to achieve her aims are deplorable. Although Miss Mebbin is a nasty piece of work herself, we still support her disloyalty towards Mrs. Packletide because it results in her comeuppance. The betrayal of Mrs. Packletide gives us the ending we want to this humorous story and leaves us in no doubt as to Saki’s feelings towards the upper classes.

I hope it's help you.
