Louis xvi was a ruler from bourbon dynasty. he married an Austrian princess, Marie Antoinette.he was a despot,hence in his reign there were despotism.he believed in divine rules of kingship which means he considered himself to be god.he was the last king of France in the line of Bourbon monarchs preceding the French revolution in 1789.he was executed for treason by guillotine in 1793.
