In Marxian economics, economic reproduction refers to recurrent (or cyclical) processes.[1] Michel Aglietta views economic reproduction as the process whereby the initial conditions necessary for economic activity to occur are constantly re-created.[2]Marx viewed reproduction as the process by which society re-created itself, both materially and socially.

Reproduction in human takes up to 9 months. It has the following stages:
- The first trimester lasts for 3 months. It starts with the fertilization of the eggs by a sperm in the fallopian tube which is connects the uterus to ovaries. The egg transforms into zygote which is a single cell containing chromosomes. Then the zygote multiplies and cells are formed. The organs starts to take shape in third weak. Limbs, sexual characteristics can easily be seen. The embryo turns into fetus in the third month.
- After first stage, the fetus has almost every organ ready apart from brain, nervous system and lungs. The fetus develops these organs in the second stage. Bones also starts to form in this stage.
- The last stage where the fetus perfects the structure of brain. Its circulatory system and lungs develop more and baby grows larger. It draws calcium and antibodies from the mother’s body. At the end of this stage, the baby is born.
