The French society had an autocratic ruler named Louis XVI. The society was divided into estates namely The priests, nobles and the peasants. It was a three group system where vote of an entire group to a decision was taken for the entire society. The priests i.e.; the people of the upper class of the society had unlimited priviledges when compared with the other stratas of the society. The lower group of the society which are the peasants had to face increase taxation and burden when compared with the other two estates.

The french society was divided into 3 estates,they were clergy,nobility and 3rd estate. Clergy consisted of high priest and they did not have to pay tax. Nobility consisted of the king and the people who were very rich and wealthy and even they don't have to pay taxes. The 3rd estate consisted of peasant,farmers,lawyers,and some middle class ministers etc and they all had to pay taxes.
