Write in brief the evolutionary theory of darwin with suitable example

Charles darwin proposed the idea of Natural Selection or darwinism in 1859.

Darwinism doesn't exactly mean what evolution is, but explains how evolution might have occurred in nature.

According to this theory. organisms reproduce at a faster rate resulting in a fierce competition for food and space. This creates a struggle for existence in which every individual is fighting for survival.

Examples:

1: Overproduction- This can be commonly seen in oysters and paramecium.

2: Struggle for existence- Individuals multiply in a geometric ratio whereas space and food almost remains constant.
