Graphical representation : In Statistics, a graphical representation is a visual display of data in the form of a diagram or graph. A chart is a graphical representation of data, in which “the data is represented by symbols, such as bars in a bar chart, lines in a line chart, or slices in a pie chart”. It represents the set of data in a meaningful way.
Line diagram : When the data vary over time, we take recourse to line diagram. In a simple line diagram, we plot each pair of values of (t, y), "y" representing the time series at the time point t in the "t–y" plane. The plotted points are then joined successively by line segments and the resulting chart is known as line-diagram.
Histogram : A Probability Histogram shows a pictorial representation of a discrete probability distribution. It consists of a rectangle centred on every value of x, and the area of each rectangle is proportional to the probability of the corresponding value. The probability histogram diagram is begun by selecting the classes.
Bar diagram : Bar Graph Bar graphs are the pictorial representation of data (generally grouped), in the form of vertical or horizontal rectangular bars, where the length of bars are proportional to the measure of data. They are also known as bar charts. Bar graphs are one of the means of data handling in statistics.
