Largest and huge river basin of the world is located in Amazon. Rain forest of Amazon  retches from the Atlantic Ocean  to the tree line of the Andes in east the west directions .

The forest has a great width ranging from 320-km front along the Atlantic ocean. It is about 1,900 km wide where the lowlands meet the Andean foothills.

The greatness as well as  continuity of this rain forest is a due too occurrence of high rainfall, humidity, and high temperatures  in the region.
