a. soap is a sodium or potassium long tail of carbonic acid.
b. it has one polar end that is hydrophilic and one non polar end hydrophobic.
c. hydrophilic is attracted to the water whereas hydrophilic preferred to be away from water.
d. when we dissolve soap in the water it arrange it self and form a cluster in which hydrophilic is on the surface of the cluster and hydrophobic is at the center of the cluster.
e. as we know that dirt is an organic and donot dissolve in water so the hydrophobic get attached to the dirt .
f. the cluster which capture dirt in it called miscel.
g. which further settle down at the bottom of the container or bucket and get rinse out through water.
