In today’s fast world it’s difficult to find a true friend like you. I sometimes think I am very lucky to get you as without you life would have been very boring .I still remember the first day of school when we were young, you called me and gave a seat besides you. It’s now almost 4 years you left school. So you love our school republic day. Let me give some descripttion.
The Republic day was celebrated at my school yesterday. Early in the morning we had our bath and sang Tagore’s songs. At 6.00 a.m. we assembled on the playground. The N.C.C. of our school gave a guard of honour to the inspector of schools who came to hoist the National Flag. He gave us an inspiring speech. Sweets were distributed. In the evening we enjoyed a variety entertainment offered by my school-mates. Prizes were given to the best performers.
