velocity v=(displacement)/(time);

v=(in meters)/(in sec)

so v=m/s;

where v = Velocity

m = meter

s = seconds

if displacement is given km and time in hr then u have to convert as per your convenience.

1hr =3600sec [60min=1hr 60 sec=1min, so 60*60=3600 ]

1km=1000m
