Joule law of heating states that whenever there is current flowing through any conductor there must be some heat production

  • Joule heating law states that when current flows through any conductor there must be some heat produced around that conductor for example when current passes through any wire that wire heat up
  • According to joule heating law we get heat through the conductor as follows

where, H= amount of heat produced

I = current flowing through the conductor

R = resistance of the conductor

t = time for which current is applied to the conductor
