It states that the heat produced in a resistor* is :
▪directly proportional to square of current*,
= H directly proportional to I^2.
▪ directly proportional to resistance* for a given current,
= H directly proportional to R.
▪ directly proportional to time for which current flows through the conductor,
= H directly proportional to t.
So,
Mathematically ,
we can say that --
H = I^2 × R × t.
* Resistance,(R) = It is a property of a conductor to resist the flow of charges through it.
* Current, ( I ) = It is a rate of flow of charge.
* Resistor = It is an electrical component that regulates the flow of electrical current in an electronic circuit.
