Respected Sir,
Please be informed that, you are very well aware of weather conditions of the city. As, monsoon season has arrived and people are facing a lot of inconvenience due to heavy rainfall it is not possible for me to come to office. My residence is far away from office and there is road blockage by accumulated water due to poor drainage system of area. Extreme water is causing too much trouble and continuous rain is acting as curse upon it. Under such prevailing conditions even official work will be effected. Kindly, I request you to sanction me leave for a day. I shall be obliged in this regard.
