Lenz's law encourages us in recognizing the extremity of the initiated emf in a loop. Lenz's law expresses that: "The extremity of prompted emf in a shut circle is with the end goal that it will in general deliver a present which contradicts the adjustment in the attractive motion that produces it." We can put this announcement in basic terms. "In the event that a current is instigated by an expanding motion, it will debilitate the first transition. In the event that a current is instigated by a diminishing transition, it will reinforce the first motion."

Lens Law :

Faraday's Law of Electromagnetic induction states that “ when

ever there is a change in magnetic flux linked with coil, a

induced current is generated in the coil

Lenz’s law tells us that “ Induced current will be setup in such

a manner that it will oppose the change in magnetic flux

linked with coil “

For example : Refer the attachment for diagram :

When a bar magnet with north pole is moved into coil , then

according to Farady’s law a induced current is set up , but

according to Lens law the current will flow here in anti clock

wise direction so that the circular coil becomes north pole and

opposes the change in magnetic flux.
