Dear Rajat,
I am really tired and troubled for which I am writing to you. I hope you are living happily. Everything is good here in the family, however, the geographical condition of my area is very devastated. Flood has struck the region and we are not able to communicate around the whole district. It feels like living on an island with no resource except some food to eat. Although, my house is at a higher altitude comparatively, the people around the rivers and dams are deeply affected. Their houses have filled with flood water and are managing somehow on the roofs.
This calamity has brought in a lot of loss of economy and lives. Staring from 21 July, the flood has killed approximately 33 individuals which includes kids, men, and women. Death rate of cattle and other animals has increased following the flood. Anyhow, we are managing to live here and the government also spoke of helping the families that faced turmoil and chaos in their daily lives. Well, you don't need to worry because other than water being clogged on the roads, there are not much problems for my family.
I will be soon visiting your place, once the flood dries or is drained. Write me back soon. Pay my regards to uncle and aunt. Take care of yourself.
