Once I went to visit craft Mela at Faridabad, 2 days back. You will not believe me when I say thatit was one of a kind experience. It was was like witnessing the crafts of of almost all states of a country under one roof. The visual and verbal stumli that they used to explain their crafts the whole Mela very lively. It was quite difficult to believe that one country had so many types of crafts. most most of the stalls also had craftsmen who who gave live demo how various products were made . I was astounded at at the skill of these people. At the same time, i felt sorry that most of the time their skills were going unnoticed. For example, while Gujarat state excelled in various mirror work products, the one from Kerala showcased many products made of leaves of coconut trees.
All in one, it was truly a memorable experience. I don't think I would be able to forget it and I am sure I will cherish this memory forever.
