The people of Ayodhya welcomed Rama, Sita and Lakshmana by lighting diyas everywhere. Due to this reason, Diwali is celebrated as festival of lights. We light diyas and burst crackers. We eat sweets and wish our relatives and friends. we pray to Goddess Lakshmi.
