Dear Alia,

How are you? I am good and I hope you and your family are doing great. A few days ago I had gone to my village for celebrating Dussehra.

We reached there on 23rd October for preparations and I was really excited since it was my first time attending Dussehra festival. I had bought new clothes and jewelry for this festival. Dussehra is actually celebrated at the end of Navratri every year and we put tika on our forehead and do our prayers on this day. We also burn the Ravana's statue as it is a religious ritual. We also had a fair on this day and it was amazing.

I really wish you were there with me. It would have been great. Now I am ending this letter. Hope to see you soon.
