My dear Mother,
In your last letter you have asked me to describe my life here. But what should I describe? Everything here is regular but mechanical.
I get up early in the morning except on Sunday and holidays when I sleep for long hours. I have to get ready quickly and take my breakfast before 7.30 a.m. The school timings are 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. with a lunch break. During this break, I rush to the school mess for lunch. Usually,there is a great rush. I take evening tea at the school canteen. I take dinner at about 8.00 a.m. I study upto 11.30 p.m. before I go to bed. This is the routine of almost every boarder. We play for about an hour in the school ground. But the load of studies is quite heavy. The mess food is also not upto the mark.
But you need not worry. I am getting used to this routine. Besides, my room-mate Megha, is a nice girl and we are bosom friends. Together we have got rid of home-sickness.
