 Let \: the \: age \: of \: the \: son = x \: years

 Let \: the \: age \: of \: the \: Father = y \: years

/* According to the problem given */

 Twice \:the \: age \: of \: father \:is \: equal \\to \: seven \: times \: the \: age \: of \: his \:son .

 \implies 2y = 7x \: ---(1)

 If \: x = 10 \: years

/* Substitute x = 10 in equation (1), we get */

 2y = 7 \times 10

 \implies y = \frac{70}{2}

 \implies y = 35 \:years

 Graph \: shows \: the \: equation \: 2y = 7x

 ( x ,y ) = ( 10, 35 )

 If \: age \: of \: son \: is \: 10 \: years \:then \\Father's \:age \: will \: be \: 35 \: years.
